Terms & Conditions
Please read through these terms and conditions. By making a booking, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions.
Throughout this document, ‘We’ refers to Rachel and Hannah Healy, Yoga Mara and other teachers employed by Yoga Mara.
- Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of class. There is no admission after the start time advertised.
- Please bring your own mat. If you don't own your own yoga mat we will provide one for you.
- We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
- The use of mobile phones, recording equipment or video cameras is not permitted.
- Before class starts, students must inform the instructor of any relevant physical/medical conditions, including pregnancy, or personal concerns.
- You agree to the following as regards in-person, online and recorded classes:
I am in good health. I have no medical condition or injury that would prevent me from fully participating in Yoga Mara classes.
I will inform you of any impairment in writing. I understand that it is my continuing responsibility to inform Yoga Mara of any previous or current medical conditions, injuries, surgeries and so on before class.
I understand that classes at Yoga Mara may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.
If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day.
I, the undersigned, understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. I should consult a physician prior to beginning any activity program, including yoga. I recognize that it is my responsibility to notify my teacher of any serious illness or injury before every yoga class. I will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain.
I accept that neither the instructor, nor the hosting facility, is liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from the taking of the class. Those under 18 years of age must have this form signed by a parent or guardian.
