FAQs / Help

Are your classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, all of our classes are suitable for beginners. Some classes are stronger than others but we offer modifications to make sure they accessible to all.

Are there toilets onsite?

Yes

What do I need to bring to the class?

Yoga gear/comfortable clothing, water bottle & a yoga mat

Do you provide yoga mats?

Yes

How long do I wait after I eat to practice yoga?

We recommend waiting at least 2 hours after you eat before you start your yoga practice. Doing yoga on a full stomach can cause discomfort and even nausea. It also means you’ll have less energy since your body is busy digesting food!

Do I have to be flexible to practice yoga?

Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, a lack of flexibility is a really good reason to start a regular yoga practice.

How often should I practice yoga for best results?

If you are a beginner, we recommend practicing 2-3 classes a week that require more exertion (such as a vinyasa flow or YogaLates) for best results. Having said that, there are many other slower styles of yoga that also help build flexibility and balance such as our lovely Yin & Restorative classes as well as Gentle flow.

Do I need to bring any special equipment?

No. All special equipment is provided in the studio to make the poses more accessible.
